This spreadsheet will have the horses listed with the dosage index, odds, earnings but not the post position as that has not been determined yet. It also has a blurb explaining the Thoroughbred Dosage Index in the “copy to new document and email” sheet to help you make better picks for the race.

Here is the blurb I added on the dosage index:
The Dosage Index is a calculation based on the horses pedigree that indicates whether the horse is built for speed over shorter distances or endurance and longer distances. The higher the index the speedier that horses relatives were the lower the index the greater his relatives did at longer distance races. A DI of 1.00 indicates a balance of speed and stamina. The median dosage index of North American Thoroughbreds is 2.4. In recent years it has been very rare to see a triple crown winner due to breeding of thoroughbreds for specific distances. The Kentucky Derby is the intermediate distance race of the North American Triple Crown being 1.25 miles, the Preakness is the shortest at 1.1875 miles and the Belmont the longest at 1.5 miles. So putting it together one might think the horse with the highest dosage index would do best at the Preakness and the one with the lowest best at the Belmont. But remember typical Thoroughbred races in North America vary in distance from 0.63 to 1.5 mi.
